VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Grace Therapeutic there is always room for one more. We have many open volunteer positions, we even need volunteers to help honor our volunteers! You don't necessarily need previous experiences with horses for many of our positions. To be considered for one of our Volunteer Positions a Waiver of Liability and the sign-off of the Simple Barn Rules must be received by Barn Manager before a consult time can be arranged.

            SIMPLE BARN RULES

No children or dogs on volunteer days.

We will have volunteer appreciation days when children can attend

​

All equipment must be returned to it's proper place.

​

All horses DO NOT get along, please put a horse in the original stall you found them in.

​

Proper closed toe footwear is required.

​

All horses must be lead with a halter and lead rope, for your safety and theirs.

​

Always double check stall gates and arena gates some horses are escape artists and will need a double chain

​

Make sure that all lights are turned off prior to leaving the barn.

With your area of interests and any previous experience with horses, (not necessary to have experience but it helps with better placement) Here is a list of current areas of need:

  • Stall cleaning

  • Grooming

  • Cleaning Tack

  • Side Walkers

  • General Carpentry

  • Feeding/Watering

  • And much more...
